Chef Camp in the City: Get Sharp with Knife Skills

Chef Camp instructor Nick Zdon will show you how to sharpen your knives with a stone, increasing their life and giving them a remarkably sharp and long-lasting edge. We'll talk about different knife styles and how to care for them at home.

Then Chef/butcher Erik Sather from Lowry Hill Meats, will demonstrate basic knife skills and handy tricks. You'll get a hands-on demonstration of how to better handle your knife, and practice ninja-like chopping skills. Sather will share some of the recipes from his shop with guests and serve some tasty snacks from his delicatessen.
